Your Appointment, Step by Step
From preparation to aftercare, here is exactly what happens when you book with us.
Before Your Appointment
Apply 1–2 drops of olive oil into each affected ear, twice daily, for 3 to 5 days before your appointment. This softens the wax and can improve the outcome of the procedure. Olive oil drops are available to purchase in our pharmacy if required.
Consultation & Examination
A brief medical history is taken to identify any concerns. Our Health & Wellbeing Consultant then conducts a detailed microscopic examination of your ear canal using illuminated surgical lenses before proceeding.
The Microsuction Procedure
Wax is removed using a precision suction unit. Most patients find the procedure straightforward, though a mild suction noise is normal. The appointment typically takes around 15 minutes in total.

Most patients notice improved hearing immediately. Our team will provide personalised guidance on maintaining ear health and preventing future build-up.
