Who we help
Our Mobility Centre Is Here for Everyone
Our Mobility Centre serves a wide range of patients and families across Longfield, Dartford, Gravesend, and the surrounding area. Some of the most common situations we help with include:
Post-Surgery Recovery
Patients recovering from hip or knee replacements, fractures, or other surgical procedures often need support equipment at home. Having the right aids in place before discharge can make a significant difference to recovery time and comfort.
Older Adults and Long-Term Conditions
For patients managing conditions such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease, or mobility difficulties associated with ageing, the right equipment can significantly improve day-to-day independence and reduce the risk of falls at home.
Families and Carers
We regularly help family members who are supporting a loved one at home and need equipment quickly. Our team can advise on what will be most practical and safe without the need for a lengthy referral process.
Short-Term or Temporary Needs
Patients discharged from hospital at short notice or those who need equipment quickly can purchase directly from our Mobility Centre without the need for a referral or lengthy wait. Wheelchairs are also available to rent where a purchase is not required.

Bathing and Showering Aids
The bathroom is one of the most common sites of falls for patients with reduced mobility. Bath seats, shower stools, and non-slip bath mats can make a significant difference to safety and confidence when bathing independently.
We also stock grab rails and other bathroom safety aids. Our team can help you assess what would be most beneficial for your specific bathroom layout and level of mobility.

Raised Toilet Seats and Commodes
For patients who have difficulty lowering onto or rising from a standard toilet, a raised toilet seat can restore independence and reduce the risk of falls. We stock adjustable models that fit most standard toilet bowls without specialist tools.
Commodes are also available for patients who are unable to access a bathroom independently, providing a practical and dignified solution for bedroom or living space use.

Bed and Chair Aids
Getting in and out of bed or a chair safely is a challenge for many patients following surgery or during periods of reduced mobility. Bed rails, mattress elevators, and chair raisers can make these transitions considerably safer and more comfortable.
